SHARP enters EV industry race; demos "LDK+" EV prototype at SHARP Tech-Day'24 "Innovation Showcase"
"LDK+" image (left: exterior, right: interior) Tuesday, 17 Sep 2024 - Sharp has unveiled its EV (electric vehicle) concept model, "LDK+," at SHARP Tech-Day'24 "Innovation Showcase," its technology exhibition event, held at the Tokyo International Forum (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan) from Tuesday, September 17th to Wednesday, September 18th. This concept model was planned and developed in collaboration with Hon Hai Technology Group(Foxconn)*1 based on an EV open platform*2. It was also developed with the cooperation of Folofly Corporation*3. "LDK+" is an EV that views the interior of the vehicle as an "extended living room" and focuses on the time the vehicle is stationary.
