Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (+5.72%) leads gainers after winning a $6.5 billion contract to jointly develop 11 new frigates with the Australian Navy. 

Meanwhile, Wall Street falls after the Institute for Supply Management's purchasing managers' index for services unexpectedly contracted in July, stoking fears of a weakening economy amid sticky inflation.
