Mitsubishi Heavy Industries jumps +6.20% as its chairman Izumisawa Seiji pitches MHI's Mogami-class frigate to the Australian Navy. The Australians are planning to add 11 more frigates to its Navy with Germany as the other shortlisted country competing for the new orders; joint development is also a possibility.

Meanwhile, Nvidia leads Nasdaq lower as mega AI project Stargate scales down to a single, smaller data center for the current phase of development.
