Softbank's Masayoshi Son to invest $100 bil in USA during Trump's term to create 100,000 jobs

Mon 16 Dec 2024 - SoftBank Group CEO Masayoshi Son has jointly announced a $100 billion investment plan in USA with President-elect Donald Trump during a visit today to his residence at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

The Japanese billionaire investor and founder of the Vision Fund targets to create 100,000 jobs focused on artificial intelligence and other leading edge technologies. The money will be deployed over Trump’s four year term.
