Darling chipmaker Disco surges 7.67% after Q2 net income jumps 25.4%


Darling chip equipment maker Disco, which was added to the Nikkei 225 index this year, surged 7.67% on Friday, after reporting a 25.4% increase in Q2 net income on 17 Oct 2024, Thursday.

Sales also saw an increase of 16.2% in Q2 FY2024, due to increase in sales volume and faster acceptance of new machines shipped to wafer fabrication plants.
